Jewelry Stolen From Hinsdale House: Cops
In another case, a debit card and cash were stolen in the burglary of an unlocked car, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
Theft
- Jewelry was stolen Oct. 16 from a house in the 200 block of North Elm Street. The theft was reported three weeks later.

- An unlocked car was burglarized about 5 a.m. Nov. 5 in a driveway in the 600 block of East Sixth Street. A person was seen on surveillance video entering the car. A debit card and cash were stolen.
DUI
- A 71-year-old La Grange resident was arrested about 2 a.m. Sunday at Chicago and Garfield avenues on charges of DUI, improperly turning at an intersection and improperly using lanes. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

- The driver of a gray Tesla hit another car and fled about 5:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at Route 83 and Chicago Avenue. The case is pending.
Drugs
- A person at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St., had baggies containing a white powdery substance about 12:30 p.m. Thursday. Charges are pending lab testing of the substance.
