1 Death, 3 Cases Of Coronavirus At Victorian Village: IDPH
In Will County, IDPH is reporting there are 468 cases of coronavirus in long-term care facilities and 84 related deaths.
HOMER GLEN, IL — Victorian Village in Homer Glen has three reported cases of coronavirus and one related death, the Illinois Department of Public Health reported May 1.
IDPH is now sharing the case numbers of residents and staff of long-term care facilities. The data is reported starting from the beginning of the coronavirus response on Jan. 24. Numbers are current as of May 1.
The cases included in the data include lab confirmed cases and cases meeting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention outbreak case definition. Facilities report the data to local health departments, who then report to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Victorian Village is managed by Providence Life Services, which manages facilities in Illinois, Michigan and Indiana. Its Illinois facilities include Park Place of Elmhurst, Providence Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Downers Grove, Saratoga Grove in Downers Grove, Village Woods in Crete, Arbor Place in Lisle, and Thomas Place in Orland Park.
Victorian Village, 12600 W. Renaissance Circle, has 50 certified beds, according to Medicare's website. Medicare rates the facility "above average" overall. More specifically, it is rated as "average" for health inspections, "much above average" for staffing and "above average" for quality measures.
In Will County, IDPH is reporting there are 468 cases of coronavirus in long-term care facilities and 84 related deaths. Symphony of Joliet remains the facility with the highest number of cases and deaths in Will County; the facility has 127 reported cases of the coronavirus and 24 related deaths.
