D92 To Now Start Year With Remote Learning
After a special board meeting on Thursday, the district will begin the year with remote learning.
HOMER GLEN-LOCKPORT, IL — After a special board meeting on Thursday, the Will County School District 92 Board of Education has decided the district will begin the school year fully remote.
Originally, the district planned to return to school with a blended model. Now, the district plans to begin the school year with remote learning on Aug. 27.
According to an email sent to parents and staff, remote learning will take place through Oct. 5. The board will continue to discuss the plan for after Oct. 5 at their meetings in August and September.

Nearby Milne-Kelvin Grove District 91 will also start the year with remote learning. District 33C and Lockport Township High School District 205 are both set to return to school with hybrid learning plans.
