Fourth Of July Fireworks Show In Lockport Canceled
The city said there could be a possible reschedule date for later this summer.
LOCKPORT, IL — The annual Independence Day fireworks show, normally held July 3 in Dellwood Park in Lockport, will not be held this year.
The city said there could be a possible reschedule date for later this summer.
Several nearby towns have made adjustments or canceled their fireworks show. In Lemont, the annual Independence Day extravaganza and fireworks show has been canceled, but the town is holding a parade. In Romeoville, the village will hold three fireworks shows on July 3 to allow residents to view the show from their homes. Lastly, Mokena has also confirmed it will hold its fireworks show, although its annual Fourth of July parade has been canceled.
