Homer Glen Approves Liquor License For Lenny's Gas N Wash
The board increased the number of liquor licenses for the village, and assigned one to Lenny's Gas N Wash.
HOMER GLEN, IL — At its Wednesday meeting, the Homer Glen Village Board approved increasing the number of class D liquor license and then to assign it to Lenny's Gas N Wash at 159th Street and Gougar Road.
According to board documents, the class D license is for a package store and the annual fee is $2,000. A package store license authorizes the retail sale of alcoholic liquor, but does not allow for consumption on the premises.
In October, the board approved reduced liquor license fees to help businesses impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Board documents state that those who apply for a liquor license between November 1 and April 30 would pay half the annual fee, in addition to the $1,000 nonrefundable application fee. Lenny's Gas N Wash will pay $1,000 for the license, and $1,000 for the application.
