Homer For The Holidays Planned In Homer Glen

HOMER GLEN, IL — The holiday season will be here before you know it, and the village of Homer Glen is already planning its annual Homer for the Holidays event. The event will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at Heritage Park, 14240 W. 151st St.

The village said it will light its new holiday lights display with a lighting ceremony at the Active Core in Heritage Park. Lights include light sculptures, mini-lights, pole lights and tree spritzers.

There will also be photos with Santa, holiday crafts, live music, hot cocoa, free train rides and more. The event is free and for all ages.
