Home Invasion Suspect Arrested In Homer Glen Residence: Police
Police say a suspect fled a Darien home invasion and led officers to Homer Glen.
HOMER GLEN, IL – A home invasion suspect was arrested after several hours of negotiations at a Home Glen residence, authorities said early Wednesday morning.
The suspect's name was not released.
The home invasion occurred about 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Sequoia Lane in Darien, police said.

Shortly after, police said law enforcement found the man entering a home in the 13000 block of Maverick Trail. Authorities told residents on the street to shelter in place.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, but was later released, police said.
About 8:45 p.m., Darien police reported that a multi-agency DuPage County SWAT team, a crisis negotiation team and the Will County Sheriff's Office were working to take the suspect into custody peacefully.
After several hours, they were able to do so without any problems, police said.
In a news release, Darien police said law enforcement's coordinated efforts contributed to a "safe resolution of a dangerous situation while protecting both the public and responding personnel."
