Advocate South Suburban Hospital & The Cancer Support Center Present A Monthly Women's Support Group

Advocate South Suburban Hospital and The Cancer Support Center present A Monthly Women’s Support Group starting on May 5, 2016, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Advocate South Suburban Hospital,17800 Kedzie Ave., Hazel Crest, IL 60429, offered to women cancer survivors at no charge. All women with a cancer diagnosis are welcome to join Advocate South Suburban Hospital’s Radiation Oncologist, Elke Aippersbach, MD on May 5th, for a special presentation on women’s health. This group will serve as a space where women with cancer can build a network with other women with cancer. Facilitated by Melissa Strick, LCPC, Clinical Therapist at The Cancer Support Center.

Advocate South Suburban Hospital and The Cancer Support Center partner together to offer psycho-social supports to cancer patients before, during, and after cancer treatment. These supplemental services are offered to patients and their caregivers to ensure that cancer patients are connected to clinical supportive services throughout their cancer journey, both while at the medical facility receiving treatment as well as afterward.
