Good Times Will Roll At Infant Jesus of Prague Block Party
Infant Jesus of Prague's block party features music, spirits, food trucks, kids activities and friendly games of bags Saturday, Sept. 23.

FLOSSMOOR, IL -- Infant Jesus of Prague in Flossmoor will be hosting its annual Block Party on Saturday September 23, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the main parking lot of the school and church. All residents of the community are welcome. The church is located at 1131 Douglas Ave.
Featured this year are four food trucks, including American Glory, Joey’s Red Hots, Los Portales and Hog Wild. Menu items will include pot roast, BLTs, gourmet mac n cheese, gourmet nachos, hot dogs, hamburgers, Polish sausage, a full taco bar, barbecued brisket, barbecued pulled pork and rib tips. Guests can also cool off with an Italian ice from Zarlengo's treat cart.
Flossmoor Station, Blue Island Brewery and Vice District Brewing will be serving beer throughout the evening. A mixologist will also be on hand making summer drink specials. The Knights of Columbus will be selling water and soda.

Not my Dad & Two Chicks and Field Day will be providing live music throughout the entire evening.
Kids entertainment includes a face painter, Home Depot workshop, bouncy house, obstacle course and a movie at dusk. Adults also can partake in some fun with bean bag competitions sponsored by the athletics board.

Split-the-pot raffle tickets will be sold until 8:30pm with the winner being announced at 9 p.m. by the band on stage.
The parish is using a ticketing system for vendors so guests are encouraged to bring cash to buy food and drink tickets at the main ticket booth.
