Missing Man Found in Chicago
64-year-old nursing home patient Thord Umbenstock is in good health after being located in Chicago Wednesday night.
HOMEWOOD, IL - The man from a nursing home who went missing from the Walmart in Homewood earlier this week has been located and is in good health.
Thord Umbenstock was located in the city of Chicago Wednesday night, more than a full day after he was reported missing from a nursing home group trip to the Walmart on Halsted Street.
The village of Homewood sent out the following statement Thursday morning:

Mr. Umbenstock was located in Chicago late in the evening on April 12, 2017 unharmed and in good health. He was transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
