Keith Crumpler, 51, of Hazel Crest faces multiple counts of armed robbery in connection with the May 18 incident at the CVS store at 3200 Flossmoor Road and other alleged hold ups in Chicago, Posen and Markham, according to a report from the Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle.
The incident in Flossmoor caused a brief lockdown of nearby Homewood-Flossmoor High School. Police say Crumpler displayed a handgun and went around the back of the store counter to remove cash from the register. Customers in the store at the time were apparently unaware when this occurred.
