Sun City Concert Band Spring Concert

The Sun City Concert Band will present its annual spring concert, “Instant Concert”, in the Drendel Ballroom of the Prairie Lodge at Sun City Huntley on Thursday, May 17 at 7:00 pm and on Saturday, May 19, at 1:00 pm. The Sun City Concert Band is a group of over fifty Sun City Residents who have dedicated themselves to the best in concert band music. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $3 for students. Musical selections will include “Instant Concert” by Harold Waters, “Mars” and “Moorside March” by Gustav Holst, “Blue Ridge Saga” by James Swearingen, and other spirited favorites including “Farandole” by Georges Bizet.    During the concert, the Sun City Concert Band Instrumental Scholarship will be presented to three deserving Huntley High School instrumentalists to further their music interest.  Please join us for this spring tribute to fine music.
