Gilberts Community Days May 28th-May 31st free music
This 4 day festival includes, free music, food, beer and spirits, carnival rides, free petting zoo and children activities
The Village of Gilberts is hosting the 5th annual Community Days Festival on May 28th – May 31st. The four day event is free and includes carnival rides, live entertainment, food, children’s activities, and fun for the entire family. New this year on both Friday and Saturday from 6:30-10:30 p.m. is a designated parking area with free shuttle service.
Thursday’s live entertainment begins at 5:00 p.m. with Saloonatics followed by the Dreamline and Pirates Over 40. Friday’s live entertainment begins at 5:00 p.m. with Hip Pockit followed by a live Rock the Fox 103.9 broadcast with American English closing out the evening’s festivities. On Saturday the event runs noon-10:00 p.m. and highlights popular bands such as Sonic 7 and Modern Day Romeo’s. In addition, Saturday and Sunday focuses on family fun and offers a petting zoo, magic shows, balloon twisters, children’s crafts, Touch a Truck and carnival rides. Sunday the fun starts at 11:00 a.m. with a Classic Car Show and featured musical guest include Jimmy Nick, Pop Machine and Smokin Gunz.
