Gizmo Needs A Foster Home!

The Difference Between Being Abandoned in a Shelter and Being Rescued on 4/11 is A Foster Home!

Meet Gizmo!

2 Year Old Terrier Mix

Gizmo was abandoned at a high kill shelter in Alabama that we work closely with. We were able to get him out of the shelter and into an amazing foster home in Alabama where he is waiting for his trip to Illinois and learning about love.

His foster tells us that he is VERY sweet and loves everyone. He is getting along with her other dogs, walks great on a leash, is housebroken, and is an all around sweetheart!

We would like to bring him to Illinois on 4/11...But he needs a foster home first!

He is also available for our Foster to Adopt program. This program allows you to be the family that greets when he arrives in Illinois. Foster to Adopt families have the first option to adopt if you determine this is the pup right for you!

While you foster, we pay all expenses from vetting, to food and we provide a crate, leash, collars, and toys. Your family provides love (something they desperately need!) and a warm place for these pups until they find their forever homes. We also require that you have the ability to take these pups to routine veterinary visits at our participating vets. These vets are located in Wheaton, Naperville, and Elmhurst. Spay/Neuters are done in North Aurora.

Fostering is the most life giving thing you can do for a dog or puppy! It is a very rewarding experience that will make a huge impact on their life. By becoming a foster you are saving 2 lives - the animal you bring into your home while he or she waits to be adopted, and the animal who gets to take your foster’s place in the shelter.
