If Madigan wants to tax millionaires, he better do it quick.
Following Gov. Bruce Rauner’s call for deep spending cuts, House Speaker Mike Madigan quickly revived the idea of a millionaire tax, which would add a 3 percent tax surcharge on those with incomes topping $1 million.
A new report shows an interesting trend regarding millionaires in Illinois, and Madigan definitely will want to get his tax imposed after seeing these statistics.
