Illinois is One of the Nation's Worst-Run States

It’s only been one year since 24/7 Wall St. ranked Illinois as the third worst-run state in America, trailing California and New Mexico respectively.

As you probably know, a lot can change in a year, including how well – or bad – governments run their states. Taking Illinois’ fiscal condition and financial management into consideration, would you posit the state’s rank has improved or gotten worse since the last survey was conducted?
