Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Unveils New Huntley Fire Protection District's Station

It's the first green fire station in McHenry County and has a display featuring a steel beam from the World Trade Center in honor of the firefighters killed in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

The Huntley Fire Protection District hosted the Huntley and Algonquin-Lake in the Hills chambers of commerce on Tuesday and gave members tours of the new Fire Station No. 4. The $2.7 million fire station opened July 5.
