The Top Google Searches in 2014

Google released a list of its top “rising” search terms for 2014, which are trending words or phrases commonly searched for in the U.S. and around the world.

Robin Williams, whose death rattled fans around the world, was the top search both worldwide and in America. But top searches by Illinoisans and Chicagoans differ from the rest of the masses; in fact, they even vary slightly from each other.
