Foster homes are needed for these wonderful dogs. They are set to come to Illinois on November 9th…but only if we can find foster homes! Please take a moment to read about these pups to see if you would be able to foster one for a few weeks until they find their FUR-ever home. Fostering a dog may seem like a formidable task, but it’s a very easy way to make a very big difference. Foster families get to spend time with a dog that needs love, the shelter the dog was in gains space for a new dog. The foster dog gets a break from kennel life and a second chance at becoming a cherished pet. The FUR-ever home (adopters) get a dog that has been shown what it is like to be loved and cared for.
Charlie Chaplin is a little guy that wants a big lap to sit on. He would rather be an only child as he bonds and loves his human so much! However, he is in a home with 5 dogs so he can share if he has too. Charlie is HW+, we will bring him to Illinois but we need a foster home to commit to his care for 8 -10 weeks while we put him through the HW treatment. Pepper Ann - 7 year old sweet, sweet female lab. Her owner dropped her at a shelter that euthanizes for space and said too bad for her....She is HW+ so she will need a foster commitment for 8-10 weeks while we put her through the heartworm treatment. She is spayed and up to date on all shots.
