Volunteer event planners needed

It's time to start planning for our community 2014 Relay for Life event.  We will be having a kickoff committee meeting on October 15 at the Huntley Park District Rec Center from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  

We need community volunteers interested in helping to make our event a success.  There isn't a set amount of time required of volunteers - just any amount of time you can give.  Some areas where additional focus is needed would be:  obtaining business sponsors, securing food vendor(s) for the night of our relay event, team/participant recruiting and planning activities to keep us awake throughout the 12 hour overnight event.

If you are interested in hearing more about our event and ways you can help on the committee, please join us Tuesday, October 15, at 6:30 p.m.  We will be meeting in the multipurpose room at the Huntley Park District Rec Center located at 1215 Mill Street.
