In case you've missed any, here's a recap of the worst designations Illinois has garnered over the past few years.

Illinoisans know how great this state is–we love our status as the busiest transportation hub in the nation and the designation of being home to the best museum in the world. But we also know there are plenty of challenges the state faces–a plethora of unpaid bills, state and municipal pension crises and a history of political corruption.
These obstacles will be tough to overcome, and with less than one month to go until election night, it’s probably a good idea to recap some areas Illinois has failed miserably in over the past few years.
