According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English:

  • Officers responded to Hollywood Casino at 777 Hollywood Boulevard for a security guard being attacked by two casino patrons.
  • Officers learned that security guards saw a man in an argument with a woman on the casino floor. A casino security guard tried to stop the disturbance, and that's when Turner ignored commands from the security guard. • While the security guard continued trying to detain Turner, Kenney hit the Hollywood Casino guard in the head.
  • Both Turner and Kenney were then detained for Joliet police, who placed both into custody without incident. Turner held two active Will County arrest warrants for failing to appear in court on previous domestic battery and traffic charges.
