7th Annual Teen Summit
One week left to register for the 7th Annual Teen Summit; let your voice be heard!
The 7th Annual Teen Summit hosted by the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Chi Sigma Omega Chapter kicks off Saturday, March 7th from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. The summit is open to all teens in grades 9-12th. This year, the summit theme is ”Our Lives Matter” and will focus on the importance of effective communication, conflict resolution, self development and connecting with peers.
The Teen Summit also offers a workshop for parents called Adult Coffee Chat. During this workshop parents can engage in a Q & A session with professionals about the college admission process and applying for financial aid.
Make plans to join the ladies of AKA for this free event aimed at helping our youth find their voice.
