Adam Teufer, 42, of Plainfield, IL, passed away on June 13, 2023. He was born on October 21, 1980, in Joliet, IL, to Andra M. nee Walter and Thomas L. Teufer.
Adam leaves behind his dear daughters Addyson Teufer and Kamryn Teufer and their mother Krystle. His sister Elizabeth (Michael) Sandon. Adam was the uncle of Lexi, Nathan, Kylee, and Brendan. Girl friend Michell Halfpenny and her daughters Vera and Vivien. Adam also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Adam will be deeply missed, especially by his loyal dog, Pixie.
Adam grew up in Plainfield IL and attended Plainfield High School, class of 1998. After graduating he went into automotive sales at the age of 18 and worked his way up to the position of General Sales Manager at Rod Baker Ford where he worked for 25 years. Rod Baker Ford was his second family.

Growing up, Adam enjoyed playing baseball and developed a deep love for the Chicago Cubs. He also enjoyed watching the Bears and loved a good tailgate. Adam would also gladly use any excuse to go fishing in Wisconsin. Most of all, Adam was the ultimate girl dad and loved taking the girls out to dinner, on vacation, to concerts and even enjoyed the occasional pedicure.
In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting donations for his daughter’s educational trust.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 20, 2023, from 3PM to 7PM at Overman Jones Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 15219 Joliet Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544. The service will be held on Wednesday June 21, 2023, at 10AM at the Funeral Home. For more information, please call 815-436-9221.
