Armed Habitual Criminal Defendant Banned From Bobby's Tap: Judge
In addition to being told that Bobby's Tap is off-limits, a Will County judge set no bail for Joliet resident Shain Katro.

JOLIET, IL — The 39-year-0ld Joliet man who was arrested by Joliet police Friday night following a gun incident at Bobby's Tap has been ordered not to set foot on the premises of the Joliet tavern in the 1100 block of Plainfield Road.
This week, the Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow charged Shain Katro with being an armed habitual criminal, felon in possession of a gun and two counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
A Will County judge ordered Katro to remain in Will County's custody with no bail and stay away from Bobby's Tap in the event Katro is released from detention.

Around 7:30 p.m. on Friday the 13th, Joliet police went to Bobby's Tap to investigate a report of a man with a gun.
"Officers learned that a male was seen removing a handgun from his pocket. The male then placed the handgun back into his pocket and exited the bar," police spokesman Dwayne English announced.

Joliet police said that Katro had a warrant out for his arrest in connection with felony retail theft charges.
Although jail records have listed Katro as living in the 300 block of Stone Street in recent years, court records had him living at the Town House Motel, 832 Plainfield Road, which is about three blocks away from Bobby's Tap.
