JTHS Foundation Celebrates 25 Years of Service

The JTHS Foundation recently celebrated its 25^th anniversary with a special celebration. The family of the first Foundation president, Doug Ziech, was honored with a presentation and plaque.

The Foundation was instituted in 1987 to generate alternative sources of revenue to enrich the educational opportunities of District 204 students.  It is comprised of local citizens who raise money for scholarships and projects, which would not normally be funded with tax money.

The Foundation’s long-term plan is to attract donations and engage in fund-raising activities to provide support to students and staff.
