As we continue to celebrate our Nation’s 250th Birthday, the Village of Mazon in Grundy County is celebrating its 150th. On Saturday, August 8th, come be part of Mazon’s Sesquicentennial Celebration when Junk in the Trunk Morris holds an outdoor Flea Market in Mazon. The location is Finders Flea Mart, 503 Grundy Street (follow signs from Rt. 47). Our independent vendors will be open for business from 9AM until 4PM, offering shoppers a wide variety of items at excellent prices. Shop for items outside and then continue the treasure hunt inside Finders Flea’s large barn. When inside don’t miss the freshly prepared food at Mama K’s Grill, with breakfast served from 9AM until 10:30, and lunch available until 4PM. Both dine in and carry out options are available. If you would like to be a vendor in Mazon on August 8th, it is not too late as advance registration is not required. Simply arrive at 8AM, pay the $15 vendor fee, and take an available spot. Vendors with small trailers are welcome without an additional charge, and there is no admission fee for shoppers. Proceeds from vendor fees received at this event will be donated to the Mazon American Legion.
