Child Porn Arrest In Joliet: State Police Announce

JOLIET, IL - The Illinois State Police issued a press bulletin Thursday announcing the arrest of 22-year-old east side resident Amir Dixon on child pornography charges. State Police said the criminal investigation resulted from a cyber tip.

Police raided the Joliet suspect's house around 7:45 a.m. "Agents located a cellular phone revealing multiple images and videos of child pornography," the press release states.

The Illinois State Police didn't mention where the raid occurred, however, Will County Jail records indicate that Dixon resided in the unit block of Richards Street.

Felony charges of possession of child pornography were lodged against Dixon and "additional charges may be pending following a complete forensic analysis," Illinois State Police announced.
