Cocaine Dealer From Shorewood Falls Asleep At Joliet Gas Station: JPD
Joliet police searched Kelly Decman and said they recovered suspected cannabis, psilocybin mushrooms, THC lollipops and prescription pills.

JOLIET, IL —A 43-year-old Shorewood woman involved in the sale of several illegal drugs including cocaine and psychedelic mushrooms, has posted bond to get out of the Will County Jail after Joliet police found her sound asleep early Sunday morning inside a car at the Speedway gas station on West Jefferson Street, arrest reports show.
Joliet police arrested Kelly Decman on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to manufacture/deliver a controlled substance.

According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, the following events led to the arrest of the Shorewood resident who comes from the 100 block of Summer Street:

- At 1:42 a.m., Joliet officers were sent to the Speedway at 1621 West Jefferson for a report of a woman who appeared to be asleep at the wheel of a Toyota Avalon parked at a gas pump.
- Decman appeared to be sleeping in the driver’s seat. Officers woke up Decman, who indicated that she was just tired.
- While speaking to Decman, officers saw a clear bag of suspected cocaine in her lap. Officers had Decman exit the vehicle and she was placed into custody without incident.
- Upon further search of Decman, Joliet police recovered suspected cannabis, psilocybin mushrooms, THC lollipops and prescription pills.
- Decman was transported to the Joliet Police Department for processing and then transferred to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. The Shorewood woman's vehicle was towed from the scene.
Bail for Decman was set at $75,000, and by noon on Sunday she posted the necessary 10 percent to regain her freedom, jail logs show.
