Carey said the accident happened at a new warehouse being built behind the new Walmart Fulfillment Center along Brandon Road that just celebrated its grand opening last week.

Carey said it's his understanding the construction worker was putting the roof decking on the new warehouse when he fell to the ground.

On Friday, Carey received a positive update, the man has improved, and is now in stable condition after initially being in critical condition.
