Coroner IDs Body In William Street Alley As Joliet Man, 45
Joliet police responded to the neighborhood on the city's west side after a dead body was discovered early Monday evening.

JOLIET, IL — The Will County Coroner's Office announced that the body found in an alley on Joliet's west side on Monday evening has been identified as 45-year-old Joshua Lee Cartright of Joliet. He was pronounced dead around 5:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of North William Street.
Joliet police officials told Patch that Cartright's death is not considered suspicious. Sources told Patch the Joliet resident's death is believed to be a drug overdose.
The final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date pending police, autopsy, and toxicological report, the Will County Coroner's Office announced on Facebook.
