Frankfort Man Wanted For Allegedly Stabbing and Robbing Female Taxi Driver in Joliet

The Frankfort man stabbed and robbed the cabbie in March, police said.

A Frankfort man allegedly stabbed and robbed a female cabbie after she drove him in Joliet, police said.

Kevin Ludes, 29, faces charges of armed robbery, aggravated battery and theft. A criminal complaint was filed against him March 19 but he remains at large.

The warrant for Ludes’ arrest carries a $1 million bond.

Ludes, who has a tattoo of his own last name on his left forearm, possibly as a reminder, robbed and stabbed the taxi driver on Dover Street March 9, police said.

The stabbed cabbie was reportedly driving for Freedom Taxi.

Ludes failed to return calls for comment Friday.
