Homeless Man David Towner Arrested At Dealership

Last week, Towner was busted for destroying flower pots outside the Will County Courthouse.

JOLIET, IL - Last week, David Towner was arrested by Joliet police officers after creating a public spectacle outside the Will County Courthouse. The Joliet homeless man was cited for criminal damage to property after he started taking out his anger on several flower pots around the courthouse. On Thursday night, the Joliet Police Department picked up the 62-year-old man once again. Police say his latest crime occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of West Jefferson, which is one of the auto dealerships.

Around 10:30 p.m. officers arrested Towner on a misdemeanor offense of motor vehicle anti-theft. Police said that Towner was found inside a black Chevy Silverado where he was hanging out, listening to music on the radio.
