Homeless Teen Broke Into 2 Homes, Stole Man’s ID to Buy Stuff: Cops
The homeless teenager was arrested Thursday night and booked into the Will County jail.

JOLIET, IL — A homeless teenager was arrested and jailed Thursday night for allegedly breaking into two homes and stealing a man’s identity.
Dreshawn Hamler, 19, was charged with two counts of residential burglary and one count of identity theft.
Hamler broke into an old man’s house on Division Street in Crete, according to a criminal complaint on file in Will County court, and he burglarized a house on Crete Boulevard.

Hamler also used a man’s Discover card to buy more than $300 worth of stuff, the complaint said.
Hamler’s bond was set at $250,000.
