JCHS Class of 2019 Student Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Twenty-two Joliet Central High School student athletes from the Class of 2019 signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level at a recent ceremony in the Joliet Central High School Student Center on May 14, 2019.

Joliet Central Athletic Director Steve Locke and coaches were present to introduce and recognize the twenty-two student athletes.

“These students are to be commended for their dedication to their sport and education. I am extremely proud of these student athletes who will go on to play in college,” said Locke.

Students who signed letters of intent at the ceremony include: Makayla Barefield – Track, University of St. Francis; Jaime Bedolla – Soccer, University of St. Francis; Shawnton Brown – Basketball, Lewis University; Harmony Burrell – Basketball, Joliet Junior College; Ben Chambers – Swimming, Ripon College; Peninnah Davis – Basketball, Joliet Junior College; Robert Farrell – Baseball, Missouri Western State University; Kania Ferrell – Volleyball, South Suburban College; Aliber Garcia – Swimming, Ripon College; German Gonzalez – Football, College of DuPage; Alexander Gregurich – Baseball, Joliet Junior College; Morgan Harmon – Track, North Central College; Jocelyn Hernandez – Bowling, University of St. Francis; Annette Hymon – Basketball, Joliet Junior College; Annet Juarez – Cross Country and Track, University of St. Francis; Jared King – Football, Missouri University of Science and Technology; Adamary Nunez – Cross Country and Track, University of St. Francis; Brayan Ruiz – Track, University of St. Francis; Damaris Stanley – Wrestling, Joliet Junior College; Armoni Strickland – Basketball, Joliet Junior College; Tara Tindall – Bowling, University of St. Francis; and Kendrick Williams – Basketball, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
