Joey's Red Hots Opening In Crest Hill This Week?
Crest Hill will mark the fifth restaurant for Joey's. All are in the Chicago area.

CREST HILL, IL — For the past eight months, thousands of people in the Joliet area have driven past the future Joey's Red Hots and seen the sign proclaiming "Coming Soon." On Tuesday, Joliet Patch visited the property and found contractors putting the finishing touches on the restaurant.
Later in the afternoon, Patch called the Joey's Red Hots in New Lenox and one of the employees said that the new Crest Hill restaurant is tentatively planned to open Sept. 7.
That means the Joey's Red Hots could be open at this time next week.

It was last December when Joliet Patch broke the news that the Joey's Red Hots would be opening in Crest Hill at 2228 Plainfield Road.
Joey's had been looking to expand into the Joliet area, and the recent closure of the Sindibad Mediterranean Grill provided a great opportunity, the owner of Joey's told Patch at the time.
The Crest Hill restaurant menu will focus on Chicago style hotdogs, Maxwell Street Polish as well as Chicago sandwiches. Joey's offers a Philly sandwich and gyros plates. Besides Orland Park and New Lenox, there's a Joey's in Chicago's Morgan Park area. Joey's has a restaurant in Riverdale.
Joey's uses Vienna Beef.
