Joliet Child Sexual Predator Now In Custody: Complaint
The Joliet man's bail is higher than most Will County murder defendants face.

JOLIET, IL — Eight days ago, Will County Judge Daniel Kennedy issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Joliet resident Kenneth R. Anderson on eight charges of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child. The judge set Anderson's bail at $5 million, which is more than many of Will County's first-degree murder defendants face.
For more than a week, Anderson remained at large in the community, but not anymore. On Monday morning, Will County Sheriff's deputies booked the 33-year-old Joliet resident into custody at the Will County Jail.
Anderson had resided in the 100 block of Twin Oaks Drive, on the city's west side. The first charge of the criminal complaint submitted by Joliet Police Detective Shawn Filipiak indicates Anderson had sexual intercourse with a girl who was under the age of 13 between May 1, 2018 and December 1, 2018.
