Joliet Mom Dies Days After Naperville Crash
Melanie Setterbo was walking when she was struck by a Jeep.

A 37-year-old Joliet woman who was struck by a Jeep while walking in Naperville has died.
Melanie Setterbo, a mother of two, passed away Nov. 4 due to injuries sustained in the crash. Setterbo was walking westbound on the parkway of Warrenville Road at around 6:58 a.m. Nov. 1 when a 17-year-old St. Charles girl lost control of her white Jeep Grand Cherokee, left the roadway and struck the woman. The teen was traveling eastbound on Warrenville Road at the time.
Setterbo was taken to Edward Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Services for Setterbo were held Tuesday, Nov. 8 in New Lenox, according to her obituary.
