Police Arrest 2 Men After Joliet U-Pull-It Scrap Metal Burglary
The pair, a man from Frankfort and another man from Joliet, are now in the Will County jail.

JOLIET, IL - Joliet police officers have arrested two men in connection with an early morning burglary at the U-Pull-It scrap metal shop in the 1000 block of Washington Street. The two men in custody are Anthony W. Lukas, 27, 100 block of Pueblo Court in Frankfort, and Tony Jackson, 36, of the 100 block of Joliet's Stryker Avenue. Both are being charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools and criminal damage to property.
Around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, Joliet police were notified of a burglary at the U-Pull-It scrapyard. When police rolled up to the business, officers saw a hole was cut through the chain link fence. Shortly thereafter, officers spotted a couple of men walking near the railroad tracks, which aren't far from the business. The pair were detained. Officers later tracked down the video surveillance tapes and the video footage positively identified Lukas and Jackson as being the burglars, according to Deputy Police Chief Ed Gregory.
Officers also recovered a set of bolt cutters as part of the burglary investigation at the Joliet U-Pull-It.
