Joliet Police Arrest Teen For Stolen Gun

The teenager was taken into custody by Joliet Police shortly before 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

JOLIET, IL - A teenager who lives in far west Joliet remains incarcerated this weekend after being put in handcuffs by Joliet Police officers. Tenzell Terry was booked into the Will County jail just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday. Terry has a Plainfield mailing address, but his residence is in Joliet, in the 2400 block of Ruth Fitzgerald Drive, jail logs reflect. He faces three felonies and one misdemeanor. His felony charges consist of possessing a stolen gun, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in a vehicle, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon by a person. The misdemeanor offense is resisting his arrest.

Terry won't appear before a Will County judge for a bond hearing until 1:30 p.m. Monday, jail records indicate.
