Joliet Resident Daniel C. Wells, 54, Charged With 6th DUI
Court records show that the Joliet man's first DUI occurred on February 23, 1986, when Daniel C. Wells was 22.

JOLIET, IL - Daniel C. Wells, a Joliet man who had his driver's license previously revoked after racking up five previous convictions in Will County for driving under the influence of alcohol, is back in trouble with Will County's justice system. On July 15, court records reflect, Wells was arrested for a DUI on Joliet's Mills Road. The incident marked his sixth criminal arrest involving a DUI, his first DUI in nearly 13 years, although technically, court records show, Wells should not be driving at all since his license had been revoked.
This time, Wells, of 1300 block of Pawnee Street, faces the real prospect of prison time. The Will County State's Attorney's Office has charged Wells with three felonies, two counts of aggravated driving under the influence and one count of aggravated driving while license revoked.
As of Wednesday, Wells still remained in the Will County Adult Detention Facility. His bond has been set at $200,000, meaning he needs to post $20,000 to go free pending his trial.
