Joliet Starbucks Closes For Several Days
The Starbucks near the Menards store on West Jefferson Street has a sign in its window informing coffee drinkers of its temporary shutdown.

JOLIET, IL — On a typical day, several cars are lined up throughout the parking lot of the Joliet Starbucks Coffee on West Jefferson Street, but that is not happening this week.
The Starbucks was not serving any coffee beverages Tuesday. A sign in the window proclaims, "OUR STORE IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED."

"Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience. We are working to reopen our store as quickly as possible," the window sign reads.
The sign indicates the West Jefferson Street Starbucks will be reopening May 17.

A woman who identified herself as a manager at the Jefferson Street Starbucks posted a comment on a Joliet Facebook restaurant forum indicating she does not have enough staff to keep the store open.
Customers of the Jefferson Street Starbucks are urged to patronize the Starbucks at Route 59 and Theodore Street or the Romeoville Starbucks at Airport and Weber Roads.
