Joliet Voter Guide 2020
Joliet voters will decide several important Will County government races on Nov. 3.
JOLIET, IL — With early voting and voting-by-mail numbers expected to reach record levels, many residents are indicating that they're very interested in the upcoming Nov. 3 election.
Will County voters may cast a ballot prior to Election Day at one of the Will County Clerk’s many early voting locations including multiple spots across Joliet.
Will County Clerk's Office, Will County Office Building, 302 N. Chicago St., Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 31-Nov. 1 and 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2. Other Joliet locations include the Joliet Park District, 3000 West Jefferson St. and the Spanish Community Center, 309 Eastern Ave. For more details on voting hours for the Joliet Park District and Spanish Community Center go here.

In addition to voting on president, some state and local races, voters are being asked to vote on the Graduated Income Tax Amendment.
- A "yes" vote supports repealing the state's constitutional requirement that the state personal income tax be a flat rate and instead allow the state to enact legislation for a graduated income tax.
- A "no" vote opposes this constitutional amendment, thus continuing to require that the state personal income tax be a flat rate and prohibit a graduated income tax.
