Karen Jo Smith (nee Tucker)
Passed away at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center, Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Age 72 years.
Survived by her husband of 53 years Forest M. Smith. Three children Brian E. (Melissa) Smith, Amy (Jeff) Konow and Bradley Smith. Four grandchildren Trevor Smith, Alek Martinez, Rylee Smith and Logan Smith.
Preceded in death by a son Andrew L. Smith (2004), her brother Donald Tucker (2022) and her parents James and Betty Day.

Karen was born December 17, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was an insurance staff agent with State Farm Insurance Company from 1987 until 2015 at offices in Westmont, Romeoville, Plainfield, Lemont and Joliet. She formerly was an owner agent with American Family Insurance. Member of Christ First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Christ First Baptist Church, 4295 Van Dyke Road, Minooka, Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11:00 A.M.
