Maywood Man Spat McDonald's Food on Joliet Cops: Police
The Maywood man was intoxicated, police said.

An intoxicated Maywood man spat McDonald’s food on cops after cursing out customers and workers, police said.
Matthew Rice, 32, was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer, intimidation, obstructing justice and disorderly conduct in connection with the 5:30 p.m. Friday incident at the Cass Street McDonald’s.
Rice also allegedly threatened police before he spat food on them.

Rice was taken to the Will County jail. His bond was set at $25,000.
