More JCA Coronavirus Cases Prompt Drastic Curriculum Changes
Several Joliet Catholic Academy students now have the new coronavirus, prompting school officials to make changes.

JOLIET, IL — Just days after Joliet Patch reported that at least one Joliet Catholic Academy student was diagnosed with the new coronavirus, high school officials learned that multiple students have the illness. Now, school officials have chosen to cancel all on campus classroom learning next week.
CBS Chicago broke the story Friday night, revealing that JCA parents received a message from school officials informing them of the major changes being made in light of more student coronavirus cases. The Joliet high school of about 650 students had been holding on campus learning since the fall semester resumed in late August.
