Mother and Young Son Killed in I-55 Crash

A Bolingbrook woman and her young son were killed in a Saturday afternoon wreck on the Interstate 55 frontage road in Bolingbrook.

Yesenia Quintero, 25, and her 2-year-old son, Isaac Quintero, were pronounced dead shortly after 2 p.m. on the southbound frontage road.

The Illinois State Police are investigating the crash. Autopsies were scheduled for Sunday.
