Mugshot Mondays: Will County Jail Blotter

JOLIET, IL - It was another busy weekend at the Will County Adult Detention Facility. Since 12:01 a.m. Saturday, July 7, a total of 26 new inmates were admitted into the jail as of 9 p.m. Sunday, July 8. We saw plenty of arrests made in Joliet, by Will County, Plainfield, Bolingbrook and Channahon.

Here's a sampling of the newest prisoners who find themselves residing at the county jail for the foreseeable future.

RUSSELL DARNELL BASS JR., 29, 200 block of Louis Road, Joliet, arrested by Will County on two charges of possessing controlled substances.

CUTZBERTO ACUNA, 44, Buckeye, Arizona, arrested by Joliet PD on charges of domestic battery.

WILLIAM LATHAM, 39, Channahon, arrested by Channahon Police on charges of reckless discharge of a gun and felon in possession of a handgun. His arrest prompted a press release from Channahon police. For the full story on William Latham's arrest, you can read this article in the Channahon Patch.

DAVID SCHREIB, 38, Lockport, arrested by Joliet PD on a temporary hold for the Illinois Department of Corrections.

WILLIAM YANO, 25, 1100 block of Oakland Avenue, Joliet, arrested by JPD on charges of criminal damage to government property.

WILLIAM PRATER the third, 41, 200 block of Hobbs Avenue, Joliet, arrested by Braidwood Police on charges of domestic battery.

JACK SVOKE, 33, homeless, arrested by Will County on a temporary hold for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

TRAVIS HOMAN, 20, Romeoville, arrested by Plainfield PD on charges of domestic battery and criminal damage to property.
