Angela R. Mass, age 83, of Joliet, IL, passed away peacefully on the evening of July 3, 2023, at Lightways Hospice Home of Joliet, IL.

Angela was born July 23, 1939, to the late Irene and Joseph Stella in Chicago, IL, where she was raised and educated.
On August 22, 1959, she married Mark A. Mass at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Chicago, IL. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage together, before his passing in October of 2021.

Angela is the beloved mother of Tony (Linda) Mass, Michael (Jackie) Mass, and Lisa (Matt) Widlowski; devoted grandmother of Allison (Mike) Cahill, Troy Mass (fiancé Lauren Taylor), Sarah (Eric) Levin, Andrew Mass (Taylor Hagerdorn), Paige (Dustin) Spence, Steven Widlowski and Lauren Widlowski; proud great-grandmother of Bauer Levin; dear sister of Maria (Shaun) Morrison and Jim Stella. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Sr. Barbara Mass, SLW, Charlotte (the late Joe) Greil and several nieces and nephews.
In her free time, Angela enjoyed sewing. By far, her favorite moments were spent with her family.
Funeral services for Angela Mass will be Monday, July 10, 2023, at the Church of St. Jude, 2212 W. McDonough Street, Joliet, IL, where all friends and relatives are invited to gather from 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held privately at Risen Lord Cemetery in Oswego, IL, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to the Church of St. Jude or Lightways Hospice of Joliet.
