Cory M. Stewart
Cory M. Stewart, passed away at the age of 44, on Monday, May 5, 2025, at his home in Joliet. Cory was born on February 13, 1981, the son of Robert and Patricia (nee McCarthy) Stewart. Born and raised in Joliet, he was a graduate of Joliet West High School, Class of 1999.

Those who knew Cory will remember his quiet strength, his caring spirit, and the unwavering love he showed to his family and friends. He had a way of making others feel accepted and valued, and his presence will be deeply missed.
Cory is survived by his father, Robert Stewart; his nieces and nephews, Elyssa Stewart, Katelyn Stewart, and Devon Stewart; and his great-nieces and nephews, Ayden Stewart and Isaiah.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Patricia Ann (nee McCarthy) Stewart; his brother, Kyle Stewart; and his sister, Nicole Stewart.
A Memorial Gathering for Cory M. Stewart will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL from 12:00 noon until the time of Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. As it was his request, cremation rites have been accorded.
